【2018AEIS培训讲解】AEIS写作高分词汇之留学类

　　平日总是被报考AEIS培训的考生问到，AEIS写作词汇和一些论点该如何累积。其实，唯有坚持二字。特此，即日起，AEIS培训基地来带领大家记忆写作单词。单词结合论点和例句，这样更方便各位学以致用。每次单词不多，五个八个，每次论点不广，三言两语。日积月累，亦可大成。

　　教育类:

　　1， moral education 道德教育

　　Moral 此处为形容词, 其名词形式是morality。通常与其对应的单词是academic education 学术教学。

　　这两方面被普遍认为是现代教育的两个重点，缺一不可。通常而言， 道德教育的缺失可是大问题。例如：

　　Ignorance of moral education in schools is more likely to result in thehigh crime rate of minors, which is usually thought as a common fault of modernschooling. 学校的道德教育的缺失，可以被认为是青少年犯罪率高的元凶。

　　2， Full-time education 全日制教育, part-time education, 非全日制教育，distanceeducation 远程教育， vocational education 职业教育。

　　3，Single-sex school 单性别学校， 与其对应的是co-ed school 男女兼收的学校。

　　在教育类话题的讨论中，这两种学校哪个更适合孩子也是常见的话题之一。请见如下论点：

　　Some parents assert that studying in single-sex schools, their children canfocus on their study more easily without any distraction from the opposite sex.In fact, by no means is juveniles’ life in single-sex schools as simple as theirparents expected.家长们愿意把孩子送进男校或者女校，是因为家长们认为这样孩子们就不会受到异性的影响了。其实青少年的生活，决不是家长们想的那么简单。

　　4，Tap one’s potential 挖掘某人的潜力, inspire one’s potential 激发某人的潜能

　　对于孩子的教育到底可以不可以批评，究竟该怎么批评和惩罚，都是此类话题常见的讨论范围。请见如下论点：

　　Undeniably, confidence is what can substantially tap students’ potential onsome subjects, and it can only come from educators’ encouragement but not theircriticism. 自信能激发孩子们对于一些学科的潜能，同时自信来自于老师们的鼓励而不是批评。

　　5， Examination-oriented education (curriculum)以应试为导向的教育(课程)，与其相关的词汇employment-oriented education (curriculum) 以就业为导向的教育(课程)，student-oriented education以学生为主体的教育。

　　教育类的话题经常会讨论到大学生就业的问题，其中毕业生较低的就业率也是常见话题之一。请见如下论点：

　　High unemployment rate of college graduates can be attributed to theexamination-oriented curriculum that has been already used for many years inmajority of colleges. 很多大学使用应试的课程，这可以被归咎于导致大学毕业生很难就业的原因。
